Honor’s Latest Flagship Arrives
HONOR 400 Pro – HONOR Global 2025 The Honor 400 series has now been launched globally, and both models come loaded with impressive features. While it’s still up for debate whether the Honor 400 or the Honor 400 Pro deserves a spot on your shortlist, let’s take a closer look at the more premium Honor 400 Pro first.
Launched a year after the Honor 200 Pro, the new Honor 400 Pro arrives with a sturdier build, an upgraded display, a more powerful chipset, and improved main and telephoto cameras. This year, the spotlight is clearly on AI, and Honor has taken things up a notch with features like Image to Video, Outpainting, Cutout Background, Open Eyes, and more.
Compared to the standard Honor 400, the Pro model stands out with its faster processor, larger display, superior build quality, Wi-Fi 7 support, and a 3x telephoto zoom camera. These upgrades come at a premium, with the Pro version costing over €250 more.
The Honor 400 Pro takes durability to a whole new level. It comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it dust-tight and resistant to water as well as high-pressure water jets. It also boasts a 5-star rating from SCS for drop and crush resistance under the Premium Performance Certification.
The phone sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1280p, 10-bit colour depth, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR support. Under the hood, it’s powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
As expected, the camera setup is one of the phone’s biggest highlights. It features a 200MP main camera with OIS (1x-2x zoom), a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x to 6x zoom and OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus. On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
Fueling the device is a 5,300mAh Si/C battery, which supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and even reverse wireless charging.
The Honor 400 Pro runs Android 15 with MagicOS 9 on top and promises up to 6 years of Android updates, which is a major plus.
Overall, Honor seems to have covered all the bases with the 400 Pro. With a price tag of €799, it offers solid value for a flagship smartphone. To sweeten the deal, Honor is bundling extras like Honor Choice Earbuds Clip, a 100W charger, and premium screen protection, including a one-time free screen replacement.
