The SRX728S is a powerful subwoofer system designed to deliver deep, punchy bass for demanding live sound environments. It features two 18″ 2268H woofers with neodymium magnets and JBL’s patented Differential Drive® technology, all housed in a front-loaded, vented enclosure engineered to minimize frontal area while maximizing output.
Built for flexibility, the SRX728S includes versatile input connectivity to suit various cabling setups. A recessed external switch allows users to select between +1/-1 or +2/-2 contacts, and with a simple internal wiring adjustment, each woofer can be powered independently using separate amplifier channels.
The enclosure is crafted from high-quality birch plywood and finished in JBL’s rugged DuraFlex™ coating for durability on the road. Each woofer sits in its own isolated chamber, and the cabinet is internally braced to reduce vibration and enhance low-frequency clarity. A CNC-machined 16-gauge steel grille, backed by acoustically transparent foam, not only protects the drivers but also adds a sleek, professional appearance.
