Moto G56 5G Full Specifications Leaked Online; Tipped to Get MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC, 5,200mAh Battery
The spec sheet and image of the upcoming Moto G56 5G have surfaced online https://www.motorola.com ahead of its official launch, courtesy of tipster @evleaks. The leak reveals several notable upgrades over last year’s Moto G55 5G.
The Moto G56 5G is expected to come with enhanced durability, featuring IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. While it will continue to use a 120Hz LCD display, the screen size is slightly increased to 6.72 inches.
Under the hood, the device is tipped to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC—an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7025 found in its predecessor. The front camera is also getting an upgrade, moving to a 32MP sensor, while the battery capacity sees a bump to 5200mAh, promising longer usage on a single charge.

The Moto G56 5G is set to launch with a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display (2400 × 1080 pixels), offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 6nm processor with an octa-core CPU (2x 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 + 6x 2.0GHz Cortex-A55) and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. It will be available in 4GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM options, paired with 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
The device supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) and runs on Android 15, with Motorola promising 1–2 years of OS updates and 3–4 years of security updates, depending on the variant.
In the camera department, the G56 5G features a 50MP main sensor (Sony LYT-600, f/1.8) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.2), supported by an LED flash. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
