Motorola Edge 60 Set to Launch in India 10th Jun 2025 The launch date for the Motorola Edge 60 in India has been officially announced. Motorola has also revealed the available colour options and RAM and storage configuration for the Indian market. Originally introduced in select global markets in April alongside the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, the Indian variant of the Edge 60 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset — a slight upgrade from the global variant, which features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. The phone sports a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

According to a banner on Motorola’s India website, the Motorola Edge 60 is set to launch in the country on June 10. It will be offered in Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock colour options, with a single configuration of 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart.

 

In contrast, the global variant of the Motorola Edge 60 was launched in three colour options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Plum Perfect, and Pantone Shamrock.

Motorola Edge 60 Specifications 

The Motorola Edge 60’s listing on the company’s website has revealed its key specifications ahead of the India launch. The smartphone will run Hello UI based on Android 15 and feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, an upgrade over the Dimensity 7300 SoC used in the global variant.

 

For photography, the Motorola Edge 60 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Sony LYTIA 700C), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls. The device is also IP68 + IP69 certified for dust and water resistance and supports stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

In terms of battery, the Indian variant will come with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 68W TurboPower fast charging, compared to the 5,200mAh battery found in the global model, which offers the same charging speed.

 

While the India pricing for the Motorola Edge 60 has yet to be disclosed, the smartphone debuted in Europe at GBP 379 (approximately Rs. 43,000).
