OPPO A5x 5G launched with enhanced durability OPPO has introduced the A5x 5G in India, its latest addition to the 5G smartphone lineup and the successor to last year’s A3x 5G. The device features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, delivering a smoother and brighter visual experience.

Built for durability, the A5x 5G comes with MIL-STD-810H certification, having undergone rigorous testing against extreme heat, moisture, and shocks. It also upgrades to an IP65 rating for better dust and water resistance, an improvement over the IP54 rating on its predecessor.

 

The smartphone boasts a 360° Armour Body, combining flagship-grade reinforced glass—offering 160% higher impact resistance—with a high-strength alloy frame, enhancing overall durability and resilience.

Under the hood, the A5x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It features a 32MP rear camera for high-resolution shots and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

 

Despite its slim 7.99mm profile, the device packs a massive 6000mAh battery and supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging (charger included in the box). It charges up to 30% in just 21 minutes and fully charges in 1 hour and 24 minutes. OPPO claims the battery retains over 80% capacity after 1,700 charge cycles, ensuring up to 5 years of daily use without significant degradation.

The OPPO A5x 5G brings a solid combination of performance, display smoothness, and rugged durability at an affordable price point.
