Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has shared fresh details on Weibo about the yet-to-be-announced Oppo K13 Turbo Pro. According to the leak, the phone will feature a 6.8-inch display with a 1.5K resolution (1,280 x 2,800 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate, pointing to a performance-driven, gaming-friendly device.
Under the hood, the K13 Turbo Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Storage may max out at 512GB, providing plenty of room for apps, games, and media.
The phone is also tipped to include RGB lighting on the back — a feature often associated with gaming phones — and boast an IPX8 water resistance rating. It’s likely to feature a plastic mid-frame and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. For thermal management, Oppo is said to be equipping the device with a built-in active cooling fan.
In terms of cameras, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro is expected to house a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter.
The handset has been generating buzz for some time, initially rumored to launch as the Oppo K13 Turbo. Last month, a leaked hands-on image surfaced online, showing the device in a blue colorway with RGB LED strips on the rear panel.
To recap, Oppo launched the standard K13 5G in India earlier this year in April. That model came with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The company is also gearing up to launch the Oppo K13x 5G in India on June 23.
