The Redmi Pad 2 4G is officially launching in the Philippines on June 5, and will be available exclusively through Shopee. Teaser images reveal a clean, minimalist design available in two color variants, along with a single rear camera setup.
An India launch is also on the horizon, with teasers live on Amazon, Flipkart, and Mi.com. While the exact date is yet to be announced, it’s clear that the tablet is arriving soon.
Under the hood, the Redmi Pad 2 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chipset and will run Xiaomi’s HyperOS. It will feature a large 11-inch display with 2.5K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals and sharp details. A 9,000mAh battery will keep it going through long hours of use, and the quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos aims to enhance the audio experience.
In terms of pricing, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is expected to be priced at around EUR 229 (roughly ₹22,000), while the higher-end 8GB RAM + 256GB model could retail for EUR 279 (around ₹26,000).
The Redmi Pad 2 will be the direct successor to the 2022 Redmi Pad and is rumored to support 18W fast charging. It may feature an 8MP AI-powered rear camera and a 5MP front camera, making it suitable for casual photography and video calls.
