Vivo Y400 Pro 5G Launched in India: 2025 Vivo has launched the Y400 Pro 5G in India. The smartphone packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and sports a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor. It is powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM. Measuring just 7.49mm in thickness, the Y400 Pro is touted as the slimmest smartphone in its segment to feature a 3D curved display. The device also includes several AI-powered features, including support for Google’s Circle to Search.

The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model is available for Rs. 26,999. It comes in three colour options — Freestyle White, Fest Gold, and Nebula Purple. The smartphone is currently open for pre-orders on the Vivo India website and will go on sale starting June 27 via Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon, and select retail outlets.

The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G boasts a 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an impressive peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate for a smooth and responsive user experience. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device runs on FuntouchOS 15, based on Android 15.

In terms of optics, the Y400 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with an f/1.79 aperture, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the phone is equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture. Both front and rear cameras are capable of recording 4K videos.

The smartphone also integrates several AI-powered imaging tools such as AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase 2.0, along with smart productivity features including AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, AI Screen Translation, and AI Superlink. It additionally supports Google’s Circle to Search for intuitive searching.

Fueling the device is a 5,500mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. Connectivity features include dual nano SIM support, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. The handset is also IP65-certified for dust and water resistance.

In terms of dimensions, the Nebula Purple variant measures 163.72 × 75.00 × 7.49mm and weighs approximately 182g. The Fest Gold and Freestyle White variants come with slightly thicker profiles at 7.72mm and 7.74mm, respectively.
